'Heatmiser Neostat WiFi Carbon.Boiler Room Stat.Very dim display .'

Element Shops service was excellent and with next day delivery. Their returns methods is also one of the best I have come across with cocise and accurate information.

Probably the best WiFi boiler central heating smart app and excellent WiFi functioning . The app is a delight and the best I have come across ,. Most of the Chinese apps for these thermostats are hopeless. I have only given the Heatmiser 2 * because the back lite LED back-lite display is unreadable in a daylight day in my lounge , The model I had was a Neostat Wifi Carbon .Visually its excellent but my one due to its very dim screen brightness is only suitable for bedrooms or very low ambient light levels. The proximity sensor only functions when a finger is about an 15mm way from the arrow touch keys.The display does increse from non visible in a bright room to barely adequate to the extent of pulling the curtains ..I programmed it in the evening with three table lights illuminating my lounge and had to sit away from any direct light.I spoke the Heatmiser technical help and explained the situation and was tolf the White version would be brighter but this is a totally different backlite (slight blue I was told).I have no idea how bright the white version is.At £ nearly 90-100 its not cheep but it does ooze quality but entirely let down by its very low screen illumination for normal heating boiler controll for the lounge all hallway where a normally good natural light level is present.Unfortunately a few hours after speaking to Heatmiser and them suggesting to get a refund ,(as there is no way the screen brightness can be increased) the thermostat failed and appeared to be dead.It has now been returned to Heatmiser for invetigation .which I am informed will take around 2-4 weeks

'Good service from Elementshop'

Prompt despatch on 24 hour delivery. Unfortunately, ParcelForce messed up and it took 4 days to arrive. Also, Parcelforce do not send text/email with expected time window for delivery, so other carriers may be better option.

We have seven Grant Uflex Neostat V2 thermostats controlling the underfloor heating on both floors of the house. Changing the parameters on any or all was incredibly "clunky" and time consuming. The Heatmiser Gateway G2 looked the way to solve this.
And - I was right! easy to pair the gateway and set up my account, and pretty easy to connect each of the V2's to the gateway. The only problem I has was one thermostat would not connect to the mesh network, and reading the manual suggested resetting the thermostat may fix the problem. So reset it (no problem) but still wouldn't connect. Then realized that having named the zone I had only 2 mins to connect the V2 (which had then expired). So - deleted the zone, re-named it and bingo - connected immediately.
Now - I have all the temperatures on the V2's visible at one time on my phone, and can easily change any of the parameters from my armchair (or even the pub!!)
Brilliant bit of kit! If you have more than a couple of V2 thermostats in your house - get one of these!

Replacement for a Heatmiser neoAir v2 which had failed. Not the most reliable products and the instructions supplied are as clear as mud, just as well Heatmiser have an excellent technical department
