This is so if the probe goes wrong it can be changed in minutes instead of digging up the floor i run it in the wall in 20mm conduit with a swiped bend on the bottom this gives you the right bend in the flexible conduit at the bottom of the wall where it then goes into the floor between the heat mat wires.Don't forget to seal the end with tape so the levelling compound doesn't get in there also put a peace of tape at the other end on the probe wire at the beginning of the conduit so if you need to change it in the future you can measure the new one and mark with some tape this way you will know when the new probe is in the correct place at the end
We cannot thank you enough for the detailed product reviews.

It's a flexible tube for the probe just remember to seal the end to stop the levelling compound getting in and locking in the probe. If this happens you won't be able to change the probe if it goes wrong.

I use the conduit for the probe on the heatmats I use. This means if the probe fails it can be changed in under ten minutes instead of removing tiles and damaging the heatmat.Just put a piece of tape on the probe wire were it enters the conduit and if you ever need to change it you can mark the new probe at the same length and this will give you a marker so you know when the probe is in the right spot in the conduit.

Its a bit to big in diameter I buy my own that is smaller, you will use less levelling compound
