At Element Shop, we provide the perfect self-levelling compounds for underfloor heating installations on various floor types. Also referred to as floor levelling compound or floor screed, these compounds are necessary for creating a level floor surface prior to installing underfloor heating or other floor applications. Self-levelling screed can be applied to a variety of existing floors and, through self-levelling through gravity, it can even out uneven surfaces.
Our Range
Our Ultra Tile Fix ProLevel Two is a superior solution for creating level floors. This two-part system comes in the form of a 20kg bag of powder and a 5 Litre bottle of additive, making it easy to use without the need for mixing with water.
This mid-strength floor levelling compound is composed of a blend of cements, graded fillers, and additives, and a pre-gauged polymer liquid, resulting in a smooth and uniform floor finish. Its application depth can range from 2-15mm, making it ideal for a wide range of substrates including traditional concrete subfloors, tamped and pan floated concrete, sand, and cement screeds, and more.
With its rapid set formula, tiles can be applied to the floor in just 24 hours. The typical working time of this compound is 20-30 minutes, and with a drying time of 2.5 hours (depending on surrounding conditions), it can even be walked on quickly after application, even in large areas.
Applications
Our products are suitable for a variety of floor substrates, including:
- Concrete subfloors
- Tamped or pan-floated concrete
- Sand/cement screeds
- Existing smoothing underlayments
- Terrazzo/granolithic ceramic tiles
- Calcium sulphate/anhydrite/hemihydrate screeds
- Plywood/tile backer board
- Warm water underfloor heating (UFH) systems
- Radiant electrical underfloor heating systems
It is important to note that not all vinyl tile flooring is suitable for levelling and tiling. Cushioned or flexible vinyl tiles must be removed along with the adhesive residue before use.
Our products can also be used for pre-smoothing prior to installing a damp proof membrane (DPM) or a moisture vapor barrier (MVS).
